Hi can someone pls help me i keep getting this error every time i open my anti virus or crossfire or command prompt it says " C:\WINDOWS\ svchos*****m

It could be a virus.
But the blockage is that the virus or the "program failure" is blocking it from opening.
Try doing some updates from windows updates.

it wont let me paist or download any programs to take image

What OS are you on?
Can you access control panel easily?
EDIT: I'll find it and attach it, but I don't think its the problem.
im using windows xp 32-bit and i can go into control panel

Okay, go to add/remove programs, and see if you can find any sort of malicious hardware, or something that you haven't seen before that might be installed. Don't uninstall it, post the program names here and people can identify whether they are safe or not.

Open your Task Manager and check how many "svchost.exe" processes exists. It's common viruses use this process' name to hide and infect your system, if you see four, five or more your computer must be infected someway. If yes, use the System Restore or format your computer.

i meant system restore
well a while ago my sister disabled updates and it pops up that error every time i try to enable them so...

Well like you said, go for a system restore, see if that does the trick.
Another suggestion I have is upgrading your service pack to three, if the system restore trick doesn't work.
