Too much fucking slowdown on my computer. Especially when I try to open a save dialogue or open dialogue. Is it because my hard drive is almost full?

Its most likely. Try adding more ram o.o or even another hard drive. (SSD) recommended.
Just reinstal your OS it makes your pc alot faster.
