About making hacks, bots, etc

So I've been lurking since 2011ish? I went idle for about a year but came back for the Vella update. I found the economy inflated in some really weird areas and that public hacks have been patched.

I've always wanted to contribute to this community but was busy with university. I've browsed around the site for a couple of hours now looking for tutorials on how to make hacks. I was wondering what would be a good place to start.

I'm a compsci major going onto grad school soon. I have experience with C++ and assembly, autoscript, etc. I can probably pick up new languages if needed. However, I'm not experienced with making hacks whatsoever or what it entails. I'm not sure if this is good enough to start.

In the past I've taken a bot (sadly deleted the files or I'd have something to practice with) and created a script which farmed black hammer frags continuously (only released it to my friend though) and created a raid script which ran all the raids for me without me having to create boats manually (up to only glas update since I was inactive after that). I'm guessing this is easy for most of you (just mapping the right timings and keypresses after all). That's the extent of my hacking creativity back then.

If someone could chat with me or provide me with links, I'd be very grateful. And if I'm successful I wouldn't mind sharing. I think this would be nice practice for me and perhaps a fun project as well.

The only thing you need to do is learn how to reverse engineer. If you got anything out of your major, you should be able to use that knowledge to implement what you have found through reverse engineering.
