The individual's isp provider will start to investigate what occurred. If evidence of the ddos already exists then the provider will pursue. Not usually an individual who goes to court in the end. They are there only for evidence. Now as for your request of a link. That is against MPGH rules which you should be familiar with. United States v. Nosal or United States vs Aaron Swartz are good examples of accessing an individuals computer instead of a protected computer.
