MPGH should allow users to create groups like official and unofficial groups

If anyone could create an official group it wouldn't really be official anymore would it.

You can create your own groups, using the groups feature from vBulletin and set your own custom image title by getting 1337 posts and then requesting it.

That's the best it'll ever get to, nothing else will ever happen like you're suggesting.

Stupid idea is stupid. Yea lets give member free reign to create official groups.

As said before above, we could have a limited number of groups for eg. 15 official groups which would be paid so people can't just 'create' their own group as they please anytime they want causing too many groups and ruining the 'uniqueness' of the whole group thing.
