Pokemon Go Joystick for ROOTED ANDROID

I did not make this, just posting about this great hack that i use on my android, that lets you walk around in Pokemon Go using a joystick overlay.
Warning: I do not take responsibility for any bricked devices, bootlops or other problems from this.

I have been using this on my android, for 2 weeks, only gotten softban by traveling far, which lifts after 15-60 minutes.
I mean bots are greats for catching pokemon, but dont you want to take over gyms, from your sofa?

There are two ways to do this, on your rooted android, OR in an android emulator on your PC.

How to use for your PC:

1. Download and install an android emulator, i suggest MeMu, they have a version that includes pokemon go, gps spoof and a joystick, ready to go. Just google it.
2. You might have to play around with gps settings, xposed and joystick, depending on the emulator. You could just do all the steps below on emulator, if you dont have rooted phone. But like i said, i managed to find MeMu including everything you need to spoof location and walk around, so you should be able to too.

How to use for your rooted android phone:

1. Determine what android version your phone has, Below and above android V5 is different .apk files, The one in attachment is for below v5 android! both are on the xposed website. (google xposed installer, first link) Hopefully you know if your phone is rooted or not, i honestly dont recommend downloading this unless you are familiar with android modding.
2. Download and install "Xposed installer" from their website (google it), you need the correct one, there are 2 different depending on your android version, see step 1.
3. Open Xposed installer, go to framework, click install, then Normal if no custom recovery, custom recovery if you have that on your phone. After its installed, reboot your phone.
4. Open Xposed, go to download, search for: "Pokemon go joystick". click version, download and install the newest
5. Go to download, search for: "Hide mock location". click version, download and install the newest
6. Go back to Xposed, click modules, check both joystick and hide mock location, then reboot.
7. Open hide mock location, you need to either blacklist, or whitelist, its different for some, try blacklist first and if that doesnt work, uncheck blacklist and check whitelist. Check both pokemon go and hide mock location.
9. Go to your phone settings, enable developer tab (click build number 8 times in about phone) then click "enable mock locations"
10. Go to locations, click only gps
8. Open pokemon go joystick, click choose starting location, then choose a spot to go, click it,go back then open joystick button, then the overlay launches, click open pokemon go, if it says failed to detect location, try whitelist/blacklist (see step 7)
9. Catch pokemon!

In my opinion, don't try to make this because your phone quaranty will be gone (i have xposed + rooted android, 2 year's pass and still i have it, so i don't give a fuck about my phone) and the joystick is simply broken, don't work so well in many cases and i mean every joystick from XDA developers and the last thing, this is not a release, it's just a Tutorial, every phone have his own custom recovery and xposed installer firmware (check XDA forums) and don't download the attachments because you can brick your phone if you have wrong information.

Note: "Below v5 android" you need to know, that below is not only for 1 phone, depends from phone to phone, even both are samsung with android 4.4, still they have different files and if you search very well on xda forums you gonna find some files that will be need to put in your phone and to be installed with custom recovery.

This is not a tutorial on how to root your phone, it is a pogo joystick for those who already have a rooted phone, they can also use this on android emulator on their PC, that way they dont run the risk of ruining their smartphone because of mistakes.
I included a disclaimer that this may brick your phone, although it is unlikely, i have been using xposed on most of my smartphones without issues.
The joystick is NOT broken, it works great for me and many others as long as you take the time to set it up properly.
And about your note, i didnt know there are different xposed installers for different phones? As there's only 2 apk files on xposed website, but you may be right. As i said in first post "I dont recommend this for those who dont have any experience with android modding", and those who do should be able to find out how to use xposed.
