Attention all MPGH users,
We have recently uncovered that our website was breached without our authorization. MPGH member data was being sold to a game cheating detection shadow firm called Hackalytica without our knowledge or permission through a cross scripting attack. Through in depth research and our network of contacts, we determined they've been using our member profiles to analyze what sections were visited, feeding metadata and hardware signatures through a neural network, and cross referencing it with signed up companies' players in-game. Ultimately, this is designed to catch cheaters who may or may have not previously used a hack. This shadow organization was contracted by the likes of Epic Games, Nexon, Activision-Blizzard, and others, to detect potential cheaters. These companies have then used this data to lay down a blanket ban to remove any potentially morally unscrupulous individuals from their games, regardless if they used a hack recently, simply browsed a game hacking section, downloaded but never ran a hack, or even used a hack 5 years ago.
We have spoken to our lawyers of this potential infringement of our member's rights, but it seems that they indeed have the right to blanket ban anyone, by race, identity, origin, or suspect of hack use, regardless of their individuality due to their ToS.
Thanks to an anonymous whistle blower, we are able to pinpoint the method of breach to a topic in a user created group filled with tags of anime pride, and thus narrowed it down to 5 suspected animeforce members:
Predator
Dab
Zaczero
Hydra
kiwi5
You have our full permission and authority, to harass, extract, and determine which one of these "weebs" was behind this betrayal of our community, by any means necessary.
We are looking to take these companies to court to rectify this situation, we do not stand lightly with the bullying and harassing of MPGH members. Stay tuned for any information, and just remember, any due discourse against this thread and the spirit of MPGH will be met with a harsh but swift ban.
Tread lightly, and show your support for our glorious forum.
Remember, we at MPGH hate you,
MPGH Staff
