No, you don't have to purchase any season passes or the like, that's a onetime purchase, no extra costs beyond that, if you don't want the SPECACT kit, which is 5USD or something, that only gives you new skins for all classes and skinned end-game weapons.

BF4 isn't gonna be that good either.
Using an ipad on your shitter will get you a 400 K/D in commander, as you can't die and just spam tomahawks on the enemy base.
All BF3 weps are gonna be in BF4, including the M16, M416 and AEK.
Microtransactions for a 20x scope, a green laser, op foregrip, anti-sniper glare, etc
BF3.1 with more OP shit, more bullshit, and a pay to win game (600€ = ipad).

Both are not going to be too great, but I'll buy both of them, as I have NOTHING else to do, and BS is great against boredom.

Seriously it's a preference thing especially thing I'm gaming on a laptop. I've played so many years with the controller that I'm so used to it and surprisingly can hold my self against keyboard and mouse players. Just have sensitivity high as mofo. I'm glad it's no the season pass type deal, i'll wait till the price lowers or have some dinero
