Doesn't seem to different from the S4 in terms of aesthetics but the hardware side of it is an improvement. I still wouldn't go out and by one though, I'll stick with my S3 for the time being.
I was waiting for the Galaxy S5 to make its appearance so that I could finally switch from an iPhone. Gotta say. Samsung didn't impress me. Mainly internal upgrades and the likes. Plus that back looks absolutely terrible.
What's ya'll's opinion on this?

Meh, Still stuck on the Iphone 4, Does what it has to do, And a Nexus7 2012, Both work fine, I don't see the hype of people buying the newest crap all of the time just for 0.1 ghz extra speed or 100pixels extra in a camera/Screen..
But then again those are 1st world problems.
That's the major problem with yearly releases...

How it looks and how it looks.
That's such a fucking trivial thing to look at, what you should be caring about is what processor it has and what strength the battery has.
The only aspect of how it looks that should ever come across your mind is, will this break if I drop it.
That's what's on my mind at least, "oops, I sort of dropped you there" and "oops, it appears I have accidentally dropped you again".
Camera? That's a second hand priority, why? Because if you want to take photographs of something, buy a camera.
Quad core 1.9 Ghz (S4) versus Quad core 2.5 Ghz (S5).
Both 2 GB RAM.
Is it worth the extra money ? I don't think so.
I'm happy with my new note 3, now to go out and buy the Note 3 Developer's Edition
I can't catch up with Samsung
I never liked Samsung.... they make better mobile phones than apple but they're pretty expensive.... I like the Google Nexus phones more...

It all depends on what you value in your phone.
I wouldn't complain if I had that power in mine, but then again, mine is a laggy piece of shit. (Xperia U).
I don't quite know the price difference, but if you don't need the extra juice, running tons and tons of applications or demanding games on it, then no, you likely wont need it.
As usual, one has to make the consideration of price/usefulness, and that's different for everyone.
I've been running with an iPod touch for all these years and I'm dying to get an S4. All I do is basic fb/twitter/browse/music/etc. I've got my desktop to game on
So whenever I'm getting a new smart device, it won't be the S5. Imo.
Prices are just rumors atm, but one can safely assume it'll be over a hundred dollars more than the S4.

Well.you.just.said.it. I too think those are the best options in the market, from the major brands.
But there are always chinese products I see that are pretty much the same but cost like 200 Euros less (a friend of mine has one, but the problem I fear is that what happens when phone breaks? Probably goingto trash...)
