VRam usage extremely high on amd laptop

Hi!

I've been trying to run gta V on my laptop for the past few days and I came across this extremely weird thing, My desktop (apple imac) uses a total of 1.5gb of vram whilst running @ 2560x1440 and my laptop uses 2gb whilst running @ 1600x900

Here are the specs of both
Imac: Core I5-4670m @ 3.4GHz and a Geforce GTX775m with 2gb of vram and 8gb of ram
Laptop: Amd A10-4600m @ 2.3GHz(with turbo upto 3.4) with a radeon HD7660G(758mb) and a radeon HD8670m(1gb) and 8gb of ram

Also, everything is disable in the advanced graphics setting on both!

Does anyone know why my amd laptop uses so much vram compared to my imac while my imac tells me that I probably could run gta V just fine on my laptop if it used the same amount of video memory :/
