K-Relay Coding Help
Hi people,

I have an idea for a sick K-Relay plugin (Not going to say what it is because it's probably going to fail), but I have no idea how to make a certain part of it. How do I change the players current quest? I want to set their quest to a certain type of mob. It's the exact same thing as a normal quest like Horned Drake, but obviously only mobs that the player has loaded. If you know how to do this, or know of a K-Relay plugin that does this, please show me so I can decompile and learn.

Thanks mayn ur mi homie now.
There is a plugin in krelay that shows a loot bag quest. You could decompile it and replace the loot bag id with whatever mob/entity id you want.

Thanks! I decompiled a plugin called LootHelper and looked at the code. To my surprise, I got it working on my first try! As I walk around the nexus, the quest constantly changes between nearby enemies! The thread is already solved, but do you know what Entity this is in the nexus?

I'm familiar with all the other entities in the Nexus it shows, but what is "Merchant"? Thanks again!

You don't have to decompile the plugins to get the source, it's all available here:

I don't know, but you could walk to the location of the quest and find what it actually is.

Do each of these have their own ObjectID? When I set something as a quest, I have to put in the Object ID #, right?
These are objects types. ObjectIDs are unique identifiers for each instance of an object type.

For example, if you have two players. Bob and John. They're both wizards, they'd have the same object type (0x30e), but they would have different ObjectIDs (which are assigned by the server), so that they can be referenced separately.

Huh.

Would an ObjectID be different for each object/entity every time I join a server? Or are the ObjectID's consistant. Like a certain player or mob will always have the ID of 123456 that will always be the same?

A specific object will always have the same ID, if you log out and log back in, you'll get the same ObjectID. All the other clients also get the same ObjectID. If the server restarts, it will probably assign a different ObjectID though.
