Why BTC?

With the popularity of cryptocurrency on the rise why do so many sellers request "BTC only" I hate PayPal as much as the next guy but it is interesting to see. I see lots of new users maybe they joined like a month ago and request BTC. Just a thought. Anyone have any insight?

No chargebacks and fast. simple as

Yeah no chargeback and simple , but unstable line , dropping in $

BTC is dependent on the users to increase it's value. The more popular it is, the more it's worth, vice versa. The whole idea is security with BTC. That being said, if you do get scammed by sending BTC, there is no way to get it back. There is no 'party' that I know of that governs over the whole idea of BTC.
