I was thinking a quick way to gain pokemon is to use a GPS hack and teleport locations. Ideas/suggestions?

it exists and i use a GPS to teleport my location but what i found out is that if you teleport to far from your original location you cant catch Pokemon or use poke-stops however you can still teleport pretty far just not cross country distance (Tutorial i used: )
I imagine time sync differences (from cellphone towers) prevent you from moving into a different time zone.

no idea i live in Canada but when i try to gps spoof myself into times square any pokemon i run into run away and any pokestops i spin dont give me shit but ive been spoofing around my town and alls good so far no ban either

This means you are soft-banned. Just log out of your google account, log into another, log back into your main and it'll go away. Although be careful, they might auto-perm ban some people if they have too many soft-bans. My suggestion is if you want to travel long distances, force close the app, change your GPS, let it sit for an hour or two, THEN open the app, so it looks like you took a plane or something there, you won't be soft-banned. Then do the same thing when you are ready to return it back home.

So I'd like to open this up to a discussion about a possible EXP exploit. From browsing various forums, I've come across two people claiming there is an EXP exploit, one with video proof. All that was said is that it is a server exploit. So I'm guessing it has to do with the crappy servers not registering something. I have no experience in mobile gaming hacking, so I'm coming here. Does anyone have any info pertaining to this or would be willing to try and figure it out? There probably isn't much time before it's fixed. They have to be working on the servers by now.

I dont know how exactly but it sometimes works if you keep restarting your game (thats how i disable my distance check)
yea, restarting the game often could possibly be the solution
Not sure of its like on Android but on iOS, location spoofers get your account banned if you travel way too fast. Basically you wont be able to catch any Pokemon forever. I guess its like a perm blacklist
Ive been teleporting from Canada to the US for about 2-3 days now no bans so far but its prob gonna come in a wave so be careful
fake gps works great but too painful
