mod help

so how do u use the dtxconvert file or anything to get to the picture 2 edit it and make ur own

i extracted the guns_m_pv_sr.rez because i want to edit the sniper rifles

isnt that just changing the gun to a different 1 instead of ur own mod skins

You should really have someone TeamView you through a basic mod job so you get the hang of it.

If you are just trying to photoshop a gun's skin, then you should be able to do it without teamview. For that you need to extract GUNS_T_PV_SR.rez. Those files will be dtx.

gallopokoi tells me he knows everything there is to know about modding. Ask him.

I'd start asking people who post plenty of mods in the mod release section. All you need is for them to give you the basics. Past that you're on your own. Unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of modding. I made 1 and I know how but I removed TeamView and, no offense, but I'm not about to reinstall it to do a modding walk-through.
