A few days ago, there was a thread titled 'RIP Cursed' in General. It has sense been deleted, but it spoke of how the FBI was coming to my house to talk to me. Since it's all over with, I might as well share the story:
The FBI had apparently seized a few IP booting sites. (For those who do not know, they are sites in which you can conduct a DDoS attack through their control panel.) While looking more into these sites they had found my email as a customer who had bought the service 5+ times. They apparently ran my email other places and somehow found ALL my info, including my parents. When they had came to my house we shook hands and sat down in my front room. They asked me if I knew why I was there, I then responded with 'The booting services I bought 2 years ago'. They then asked me about forums I go on. I explained that MPGH was the only forum I am actually active on, but they may have found my email on other forums due to the forums having the 'Sign up to download' feature. They then started to read how many years I could spend in a federal prison if accidentally took down a hospital or kept using DoS services. Then they started explaining that the FBI needs people like me and how I can do so much more good than bad. They also said they didn't think I would continue doing such activities and I promised I would not in the future. We shook hands and the bigger FBI explained how nice it was to be in a nice house for once and they were off.
I wasn't taken and most importantly my computer wasn't taken.
