i've got a question. are texture hacks considered an infraction by VAC? As in, is it a type of hack that VAC banned? What's the difference between Texture hacks & hacks like aimbots/wallhack/etc./esp stuff?

Yes, .bak files are Backup files, meaning they're the original files. But, with the Delete Local Content Workaround you'll have your MP back in No-time anyways.
