So after a long time(months), trying to contact DragonLord who seemingly was the original founder of Doomed Realms, I've had no success in getting in contact with him. The reason I tried to contact the guy, was because that, in my early days in this community (pserver community) I loved all the doomed realms servers and I thought it was so cool, and always wanted to host a doomed realms server myself, wich I eventually got to. However as the source is very old and almost forgotten, and even never heard of, among the new generation of pserver devs, I thought it'd be cool to remaster the source. And therefor I obviously tried to contact the founder, but he seems out of the community or just extremely hard to reach? Anyway,
I've gotten to a point, where I wanted to ask you guys, what your thoughts were on this, and wether I should do it or not. I really apreciate any feedback/ideas relevant to this post.

you dont even need to contact the owner(s) any more, they aren't using the source for a public server any more, and the source is public for anyone to download and use, so you can do whatever you want with it:P

if they didn't want people using the source and making a server with it, they wouldn't have released the source;P (pretty sure the source also got leaked at one point but then also pretty sure they officially released it after that)

The source was definitely leaked to several people, including myself.

Donran had just taken the time to clean it up with his version he released, if you even want it

Just a side note, remember to remove all those outside links in the client. There are a lot of them
