Hello,
We all know that hacking in a Game is always a risk, no matter what you hack. With that beeing said let's continue:
Today i got permanently banned on DBD after 2k hours Playtime. I bought the Game last Year (before the offical Legacy got stopped) Since my Achievments are not legit because of modified data i have a private Profile.
After i got banned i had a Conversation with the DBD moderator that banned me. She said she had enought evidence that my Player Data is not legit.
So what could be Reasons for the Ban?
It's only speculating at this Point.
reasons for the ban could be:
- i played with the twitch Shirt several times
- Played with legacy Clothing (then again, i bought the game October,2016 which is a legit date to obtain legacy, legacy wasnt obtainable end of November as far as i know)
- modifed my save
So i modified my save with the Editor like most other people here, i even changed it to valid Dates ect to make it look legit.
TL;DR
I'm no fool. I never played with Clothing that wasnt obtainable/released or had my Profile public. They still banned me. Permananetly for save file modifications. My guess is that they are able to collect Player data no matter if you have a private profile or not, they can see what youre doing with your save file and what not. Of course they also collect reports from other Player that might report you. Playtime is also not safing you.
A good old friend also got banned for "hacking achievments" which he never did. He modified his save file in the same way as the current savegame editor do it for you, just he did it manually without a Tool.

His achievments are totally legit if you look it it, so that wasnt the Reason for his ban but well, he couldnt said he got banned by hacking his save file right...
i just want to warn other Cheaters that you should be more carefull with using anything now. The save file will be serversided soon and then Hacking in this Game will be alot harder anyways.
