First you apply your EasyAntiCheat bypass (I'm using this one and all works fine > https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1301975),
then you run the CloudExtractor, this will open a command shell,
then you run Dead by Daylight, skip the into and press [Space] when you are prompted to, the game will get stuck while loading,
then you run the CloudSaveEditor, Load the Profile Save "cloudsave.txt" that's located in the same directory as the CloudExtractor v1.1.exe, do your edits and save it overwriting the cloudsave.txt the CloudExtractor created,
then type "1" into the command shell the Cloud Extractor executes when you ran it and press enter to inject the edited save - Dead by Daylight will continue to run and your save is injected.
Thank you for your detailed instructions! The problem I run into is that when I use cloud extract, the cloudsave.txt is incomplete. I don't think it's extracting the full save because it just cuts off without closing off and I can't load it into the savegameeditor. Has anyone run into this problem? Thank you.

Are you sure what you edited is valid JSON Syntax and the item id's are correct, no typos etc?
Try only editing the number after "experience", it's your Blood Points, and then injecting it, see if that works.

- does the extractor say it succesfully hijacked the savefile?
- are you 100%!!! sure you overwrote the old savefile?
- are you sure you injected your edited savefile with cloudextract by pressing 1 in the console?
- after pressing 1 in cloudextract does your game get "unstuck" and continu to the main menu?
- did you block deadbydaylight.exe in firewall?
- did you remove EasyAntiCheat folder in %appdata%?
- did you replace the easyAntiCheat folder in the install location (c:/programfiles/steam/blablabla/deadbydaylight) with the one you need in order to use the cloudextract?
edit: try launching cloudextract as a administrator.
edit2: when you overwright your old savegame check in the cloudextract folder if the time that you edited is correct.
Example: if you edited your savegame on 06-02-2018 at: 17:00 hours.. the "last edited" date should be identical.

im also getting "waiting for main module"
firewall is turned on, dbd blocked and EAC service was not running ( had to force stop it while launching because every time i start up dbd it creates a new EAC folder and the service is also running so yea.. )
