PC because I like to tinker my own stuff together.
PC vs Console
I've played on console for years, because that's what I grew up with and that's where my friends were playing. However, I find PC to be more enjoyable because of comfort (steelseries mousepad + gaming chair, posture), the endless library of games without compatibility issues, not having to pay $50+ a year just to play online, top notch hardware parts that you can get for free Se'ing (just be smart), among many other things.
I like consoles more for light gaming.
PC, you have total control over everything. You can upgrade/downgrade any time you want and install whatever you want.
PC - if you like keyboard
console - if you like using a controller

The winner has got to be PC because of it's freedom towards games. You can mod, you can hack, you can play with different controllers and keyboards. You can modify graphics, and push them beyond the limit.
If Consoles were to one day implement all of that, they would maybe be neck and neck with PCs

Given the fact that I don't have the same time as a kid, even though I've always been a PC guy I'm probably getting a PS4 (or PS5?) next for casual gaming.
What's console? Oh you mean 30fps trash thing?
personally, I prefer pc over console. but I think it also depends on what u played growing up, and how ur life is going. if ur more into casual gaming and don't feel like spending a bunch of money on a good pc, I think getting a console is actually a really good idea as they are decently powerful and have a large variety of games.
