Apple is too plain and simple, too boring for me. Always had Samsung, never felt the need to change.

My vote is for Android...
Apple has been relevant for so long without innovation because they present themselves well. Thus Apple imo.
I like android better. More open OS and I have just gotten used to samsungs.
Android does have better phones, but I choose Apple just because it's like a norm lol.

Apple is a company which makes apple products, it kind of annoys me that people get confused with Apple's OS which is called iOS, therefore, this thread should be called iOS vs Android, not Apple vs Android, why? Well, uhh comparing company to an operating system is something that makes no sense.

Also, i'm an android user since forever, but when i tried iOS - it is indeed much smoother, faster than the android.
My vote goes to Apple.
