Making a website anonymous

I have a pirated movie website.

My question is, if it gets popular etc, how do I stop it from getting taken down and not get my ass sued?

At the moment it's pretty much only private use. It is hosted on a dedicated server, only person who has access is me etc.
I know the basics, like whois protection, using fake info and all that.

you could host it on a provider like flokinet.is; from what i've heard, they don't care about shit like that.
also, you'd probably be fine renting a dedi from a seedbox provider and using that - it's what i do and have had no problems whatsoever.
whatever you choose to do, make sure the server is hosted outside of the us or any five-eyes country (any of them are likely to work with the us).

Thanks for the advice. I already do both those things, it's a dedicated server not in the US.

But say for example, a movie company wanted to take legal action, would they have any chance of finding out that I'm the owner?

I imagine it would have to get popular as hell for a movie company to even consider taking action. - I have no actual knowledge about this thou so don't trust me

I've noticed a lot of "shady" sites seem to use CloudFlare as a reverse proxy to hide their true host (as well as offer DDOS protection etc)

Horrible latency.

Your best bet would be to host it somewhere that doesn't have a lot of jurisdiction treaties with other countries like the US or the EU.

cloudflare would give your infroamtion to agencies within a heartbeat. People solely use cloudflare to prevent dos attacks.

Yeah I've heard that. Companies that won't rat you out are few and far between.

Well with the release of the MPGH VPN, I plan on implementing a reverse TCP server. This would allow you to hide behind it. Though I'm not sure what ports im going to allow on the reverse proxy, but it will work for what you need :P

Don't keep any of the movies on the server. Make sure you use an API to stream the movies from other sites. Doing this protects you for the most part, it just means you're basically a middleman between the consumer and the site where the movies are actually hosted and stored.

Use offshore dedicated server, with DMCA ignored service, do not use abelohost, they have changed.
