Just installed this modpack, all good but if I use the bed it throws me way into the sky miles away from the bed?

Alright, so I downloaded the mod, and almost every feature of the mod works fine... Except no mobs (neutral, aggressive, or nether) are spawning at day or at night. I have every mob turned on in the mob filter, and mob spawners will spawn aggressive mobs and nether mobs (*not* neutral ones) in the appropriate conditions but the mobs automatically die and drop their usual loot. I've tried reinstalling the mod several times by wiping out my /.minecraft/ folder and restarting, but it doesn't work. The only problem is the mob spawns. Is this a bug, or am I making an installation error?
