Make sure you read through the later steps on how to save the alpha channels. Its one of the most important parts on working with scopes.

And interpolated alpha just means that the alpha is included. No alpha obviously means it saves the DDS without an alpha channel.

yeah, I read the tutorial closely but I thought "interpolated alpha" would mean something special...

Think of it more as "Integrated Alpha".
