MM/HM gives off EXP and GP, and does not make it count towards your KD. At the same time, you don't need to repair your weapons, etc.
EM - Doesn't require you to fix weapons, but everything you do counts towards your K/D.

You could also try doing some sur.veys. Get 2.6k ZP and then buy 20k GP from the item mall. 
Well... GP Money... Level up to Staff Sergeant to recieve 60000GP (that includes all GP acumulated in all ranks)
