WHY OPTIMUM WHY WHY

ok so i was playing FPS game today and when i always play my ping is like 28-35 but today when i was playing it was 300-600 and i was not using hacks does anyone know why

my computer is new

windows 7 x64

Maybe its because you got a new computer?

Did you get the 300 fps with your new computer compared to old?
If not maybe backround programs are causing lag

I fucking hate optimum. I'm switching to FiOS

@Azathth can u post a screen shot of speedtest.net with your fios speed if i like it i will change to it and tell me how much u pay a month just for internet

Maybe the server you were on had a shitty connection to you.
