Probably it has something to do with the Login BG .
Coordinates could be off, hence the reason why you might not be able to enter it. 
Are you running in full screen, and on a different resolution other than 800x600?

u should probably change back to the original login screen if u cant fix this 
u have change the login bg to fit it into where u log in?
Contact the BG creator and and see with him if there are other users with the same problems, obviously your coordinates are wrong, but you have to check if is the problem in the BG files or if you did something wrong.
