Computer installed programs!

I want to clean my computer without restoring because I have a lot of stuff I need.
I have a lot of installed programs that I dont remember installing or ever using. I have no knowledge with computer hardware (whitehat).
Halp me please?
What can I un-install to get some space, or without harming my computer?

Anything with the red line around it is what Im wondering about. Can I uninstall some of it?

Java = required for java-related apps
Microsoft asp.net + help viewer = required for most apps
Microsoft office = It is recommended for using microsoft word, excel, etc. ( You could uninstall it without harm if you don't use it)
Microsoft sql, sync and visual = They are required to run almost all Applications
Microsoft Windows Sdk = Same as the above

All of them are pre-installed with your build of windows since they are all required (or recommended)

Those are mostly runtimes, not actual programs. Their size isn't that great, you could remove them and risk other installed programs losing dependencies. If you're looking to free space clear out your temp files, old installation source folders, clear your recycle bin, internet / search history etc. Give CCleaner a shot

Do you actually use Adobe Media Player? I think it's terrible Also, what I did when I had that many runtime updates was just un-installed them all, and reinstalled the newest ones. It only free's up maybe a gig at the most though. Aim for old music, cache files that take up space, etc.

Just seems like my computer is getting worse (slower).
I run CCleaner often, smart defrag, and check for viruses.
Nothing i've done has helped.

If you have used both SpyBot S&D and CCleaner now, you might aswell want to re-install Windows

I sincerely doubt the runtimes are causing your computer to ever more degrade in terms of performance.

See if any processes have an exceptionally high CPU or memory usage? CTRL+ALT+Delete -> Task Manager -> Processes -> Sort by clicking Mem Usage twice -> Write down any processes using a lot of memory and how much it's using -> Sort by clicking CPU twice -> Do the same thing.

I didnt say it was from the runtimes, I was just wondering if they were needed, just so I can assure my self that Im doing everything I can to speed my computer up.

I've done so. Maybe its just time for me to upgrade on RAM
