Actually, you're wrong. Many people skip it, yet they don't even post in general. Everyone CAN have a post ban, but not everyone does. Usually people who post in general are more than likely to have one.

Well back the the day advancing 1000 posts was actually a major accomplishment because of the fact that there weren't very many users so in turn there weren't very many discussions happening at once. the 1337 ban happened back in the day because of the whole l33tsp34k movement happening at the time. Now days it is just due to legacy, we didn't always have post bans though.

i love this cute little story, i find it more reasonable then only it being funny cz i dont find it funny at all to get banned
