New Duping Method?

well i was nearly sure of this as the youtube comments told me the same thing you stated.. but i mean, if something like that can be like a "pseudo-dupe" maybe the server would think the same thing with other methods such as trade dupe or something. idk how programming works or anything but i think it would be possible if one acccount dropped and item while it logged out immediately after, and then a mule picks up the item and maybe makes 2 items?

I managed to dupe some trash by having accidental internet problems. Maybe someone could find a way to make this intentional.

thats what i was thinking.. could you maybe state some more details on how exactly you lagged out and if you were in the vault/etc? could be very helpful.

My internet was basically making me take forever to go from realm to realm, so I deposited some stuff in the vault and went to nexus, but it took too long so I closed ROTMG and opened it again, figuring out I duped what I had put into the vault

seeing as how you were switching to nexus, it was probably just a "connected!" message, but you just go really lucky on it, because the old blue and red still run under those gay loading screens. practically what you did is the old version of duping, but you got lucky :3 gratz i tried this for about 30 mins today and no result. oh well valiant effort.

a new method im working on now is having 3 accounts logged in: 2 of the same account, and one as a mule. what i do is i have the mule and the part1(a name i give to the red/blue text acc)logged in at once, and the part2 connecting. i have the part1 drop and quickly pick up an item just as the blue screen of the part2 comes on. then, simultaneously, i have my mule pick up that item by rapid clicking the item on the ground.. so far no success but it does put a lot of the same items in my inventory., but just as i had posted up on top of this thread, it dissappears as you nexus... except for once i duped a mana pot and ended up with 2 actual pots on the main and the mule. but idk if this helps, just ranting. try doing a method like this and get back to me if you actually dupe something, or just do your method! goodluck

Yeah I have experimented with drop duping and it seems that as stated above, it is just a "pseudo-dupe" The items appear on your screen but when both the mule and the main account have refreshed their page/entered a new place, the items dissapear. Both of the accounts never really have the items it just shows that they both do.

From what you call a "pseudo-dupe", I've done the drop pseudo-dupe. My brother, friends, and I are a little disappointed because we no longer have infinity ammys so we can live forever. I still have about 50 ammys though.

There has been known to be a way of duping, but it relys on complete crap internet. What you need to do is have 2 windows open, 1 account with the items, another different account. Then you trade the items over, and with the now empty account, you go into vault/guild hall. Now the very slim chance of being able to dupe is this. What happens is, sometimes, if the Account in Use goes all the way down to 0, you time out and go back to nexus with the items you had when you previously loaded nexus. This means that you would still have the items you traded as you loaded nexus before the trade with the items. Now you have the items on 2 chars, but it is like a 1 in a million chance. Maybe there is a way for someone to figure out how to force time-out an account somehow so that we duping can be possible again. I've done this once but it took me over 300 tries, but atleast we know this works. And it wasn't a pseudo-dupe, both accoutns had the items, the one who timed out and the one who received the items. I hope this can be a starting point for someone to develop a new duping method

Ok, I'll try again. You have 2 windows of the game, 2 different accounts. 1 empty, 1 with the items you want to dupe. What you do is trade the items over, then the one who originally had the items goes to guild hall/vault, and hopefully, if you get the account in use error. If the countdown goes all the way down to 0, you will time out and go back to nexus with the items you had when you first entered nexus just then. So that would be before the trading with your other account, thus the items will be on your Window A who timed out, and Window B who received the items. That clear enough? Cos it worked for me, once xD
