Virus with the hack??
well, so far, two detections, neither eliminated the problem....grrrr, this is pissing me off, and I can't play crossfire, because 1., the damned virus slows my computer and my internet connection, and 2. the damned pop ups even pop up while in game.
Thanks for the help guys. I followed the link for malwarebytes. After a 2nd attempt, and 3 hours of scanning files, it finally found all 8 files and got rid of the damned thing. I'm going to try the hacks again. If it happens again, 1. I know how to get rid of it. 2. It's coming from the hack. Hopefully all is well now. thanks again
Yeah, well at least now you know what to do..a useful, albeit aggravating learning experience.
