You don't activate them you have to change them in your registry, you need to find a key changer to change your current key.

They can be clean but that doesn't mean that they are valid. You can still change your key and everything using a key changer.

I don't think the key changer works anymore, after the changed the system to run off of steams servers it seems to reset the key to the original when you connect to a server.

Tried using two different keys last night, both valid ( one bought ) and it still reset the key.

Keys are tied to your steam account, simply changing your key in Registry wont work anymore.
