Request For Dave

Dave, i am sick of choobs signing up because of one thing they see on the forum, then spamming the forum, then never visiting the site again.

i have seen other forum sites where the front page is like the only thing you can view until after you register and login. i think it would be great if you could implement this feature to your forum.

also, it would be nice to add two restrictions:
1) 50 post minimum to start a thread
2) 100 post minimum to post an attatchment.

end the chooby-ness

meh...i think they are good ideas, i dont really care what you think.

I say get rid of leechers, I unno about the registering thing.
But I think raising the post count to able to download things off the site should be increased slightly.

But than again.
If you think about it, the down side is.

You will have alot of random noobs registering, than spamming some random thread to get enough post to download it, than downloading it, and never showing up again, until it gets patched. Then rinse and repeat.

Gotta think about from different perspectives.

thats true...but umm...i still think the register thing is a good idea. cause as soon as a leecher (myself for instance) posts some working chams for combat arms, there are immediatly 30 pages of <20 post choobs going "How do i run these? hacks are confusing."

So your saying, you have to have so many post to attach an attachment?

yeah, cause lots of choobs post viruses and shit.

Don't the Minions of the section have to approve it, before it becomes public for download?

I went to a thread earlier, the attachment was there but it said "[Waiting for approval.]"

yea they do but they make sure they have posted virus scans

Someone has to approve it before its even downloadable, besides if some1 posts a scan with lets say 70% Detected by the scanner people are gonna know its a virus with no false positives

ok so if u dont trust it DONT DOWNLOAD IT as simple as that
