Are there any basic workouts for a mod need a little bit more practice and time as @aeronyxjr and others say?

Get used to the feel and look of your image editor and experiment with it, after decent research, do a couple of practice mods, play with overlay effects, and create your own camouflage. That about sums up how I got to where I am.
Make a mod, test it in-game. If it looks whack as fuck, just play with it in PS until you get what you want. Ideally, you should plan/visualise how you want the mod to turn out. This actually helps because you have agoal to work towards.
