Injection Problems

Currently I am trying to use the mApex² hack for TTT and general Gmod. The problem is, every time I inject the new gmodpickles.dll using PerX injector, it NEVER works. I have tried to type sv_allowcslua 1, lua_openscript_cl name.lua, and even used the insert/page up commands. NOTHING works. This is really making me angry because I have done it before on my old computer, but now it won't work. What am I doing wrong? Do I use a new injector? I'm running Windows 8.
