It is alarming that there was no application. One would assume that there is a certain level of professionalism present to determine integrity and ability. Personally, I would like to see proof of a certain level of technical skill, given that minions are charged with the task of filtering out malicious files. Until then, I will be assessing whether a file is malicious or not myself. I would also like to point out that typically, in a small community such as this section, administrative roles are given to those who are respected and knowledgeable. Do not misunderstand; I am not indicating that you are not, however, the amount of negative responses in this thread is troubling. Regardless, I am eager to see how the two of you pan out.
Oh wow. @Royce, How did you ever convince staff to give you minion? I thought you were supposed to have the Royce curse or something and forever be a peon of this site... You know, to be forever tormented by staff here. Isn't that the mpgh way? How many dollars you slip into @Liz's pocket?

Ah, regarding @Royce: respect is earnt through effort, not money. It's not like he'll be respected just because he's a minion now.
