I'll start I am a Structural Engineer doing large transportation design projects. I find that I constantly am trying to find better computer solutions to our everyday tasks and trying to automate things. I am considering going back to school and getting an MS in a computer related field and I was just looking for some advice.

I'm sure there is a mix of super genius self taught 12 year olds and old timers.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I can't be the only person who has wondered about the people who make all these sweet rotmg hacks

I currently go to school and don't have many ambitions to aspire to but would love something to do with graphic. I can code a little javascript, but there is definitely much more room for progress. I try really hard to become better at programming but it does not seem to be my piece of cake. I have always enjoyed editing things on Photoshop which is I would love to become a graphic designer or anything in that field or pathway. I have won many art contests, and have always enjoyed doing it. But as for now, I'm going to stick to school try and get good marks and try to get into a good university(or college as you Americans call it).

Well I'm a 14 yr/old Korean/American who spends wayyyy to much time on the internet. My father is a Computer Sciences Professor, so i've learned a lot from him. I haven't done any RoTMG hacks (yet). I do a lot of social engineering to get FB passwords and stuff, and the occasional script. I'm better with hardware than software xD

I'm want to apply to MIT but the sucky thing is that my high school and I believe it's wayyyy underdeveloped compared to all the other high schools in NYC. I want to take up a language as I want to pursue a job in the Computer Science field, but I dunno where to start.

Any tips on where I can learn to program an app-game? Programming the game is the only roadblock I'm hitting, I have everything all laid out already. :/

Currently a sophomore in college. Just until last year, I was in a dual degree program for business management and engineering, so that I can work in banking or consulting. Honestly, I really hated it, but I saw it as an easy career path to making money.
But I've always wanted to start my own animation studio like Disney, so I'm now taking courses that have to do with literature, screenwriting, or cinematography. Good chance I won't make that much money but I think I'll be happier

I am 12 years old, and i mostly write A or B's in school.
I love programming and the Computer world is my life.
I was a Grey-Hat Hacker once now i am a White-Hat Hacker
I started Hacking / Coding when i got my first computer, when i was 4 years old.
I hacked my Brothers / Fathers computer and scared them, suddentley my father caught me hacking once, he was impressed that i could "Hack" when i was 4 years old, i mostly putted Trojans on their Computers to crack random passwords.
Then i decided to hack the computers of my friends (when i turned 6, i got a better computer) it was that day, when i realized: "Hacking is fun".
I wanted to hack something bigger, i hacked the computer's of my nightbour hood, and then my nightbour didn't know what was going on... and called the cops.
I was glad that i used proxy at that time.
When i turned 8 i wanted to use my Hacking Skill's to help closing secruity holes... I became a White-Hat Hacker.
My friend tested me, he created a crappy website with an database that i should hack.
I hacked it in minutes, it was fun for me, to hack.
But that one day, something bad happend.
I forgot to use a proxy, as my friend tested me, so the cops came to my house, and my parents didn't know anything.
I explained everything so the cops as to my Parents.
One of the cops said: "If you don't do anything illegal, it's good" (translated, im german)

There i am now.
Nothing more to say, my "hacking" / "coding" life, still coding, im Hacking not often anymore though.

Third year of Bachelor Honors Degree in Digital effects and design course specializing in digital and physical modeling (3dsmax, mudbox, autocad, photoshop, after effects and similar programs along with some experience in architectural modeling and design...tbh unsure of what sort of job I should go for I know shockingly little about the industry related to my studies LAWL
my work experience includes - dark horse comics(got my name on the cover of a few issues :P), sailing,windsurfing,surfing,archery,rock climbing and seakayaking instructor ships,paid basic white hat'n
