use updated Adblocker plus. better. 
Works perfectly fine for me when I add them to custom blocklist.

perhaps youtube/ads changed some shit and adblock wasn't up-to-date so didn't know if it was an ad or not (just like how anti virus definitions work)

What is happening is that they are using new servers for their ads as well as an update for ABP broke your subscriptions.
Re-sub and you should be good to go.
