I hate that fucking game, I've played like 500 games over last 3 months or so, can't ever get 2048, closest I've gotten was getting all the pieces needed to make 2048 but not able to combine them.

Finished it after a day.

It's all about organization. Just don't swipe in one specific direction. Some organize all on the top row, or the right row.
I find the right row to work best for me, so I never swipe left.
