No I didn't. Seems like it has something to do with the resolution and not being able to recover from being minimized.

The DX error occurs after you inject that D3D9 overlay and try to configure the graphics options or they are just too minimum. Set your graphics options to higher standards (720-1080) than inject and don't try to inject it again after the first time.

I explained clearly why. If you read what I said you would notice that you can't change the settings after it's injected. This will cause the overlay to malfunction and potentially crash your game.
Don't ever minimize a game w/ a directx overlay on it. NEVER EVER Instead, simply configure it into windowed mode and open things on top of it.
