Quick Question about Mules

Hey guys,

A long time ago I used to have mules (this is when WildShadow was running the game) and you simply registered with a fake email or whatever and put all the items and it was safe.

I've gotten back into the game a month ago and I'm reading all of these huge mule bannings and stuff and so I read up how to keep your mules safe.

I currently know that it is recommended to get your mule to 1 star before trading and stuff. However, what should I use for an email? Should I put a fake email again (so unverified), or should I make a new email for every single mule? And would the dot gmail trick work (ie. first email being saxitus@gmail.com [not my email], and make a mule for .saxitus@gmail.com, so that I can confirm it and not make a new email account for each mule if I have to verify it, or will Kabam ban this quickly because I'm using the same email?)
