Emmanuel Macron wins France's election to become the next president of France.
In an election that would by many people's standards decide the fate of the European Union, those who looked for a stronger EU were able to breathe a sigh of relief on Sunday. Macron was able to defeat Le Pen in what many would call a land slide. After a close first election, where Macron only beat Le Pen by 3%, the second election looked nothing like the first. Macron took roughly 65% of the vote home, whilst Le Pen only took home 35%. Had Le Pen won, it would've been a continuation of the nationalist theory being spread across western civilization. First came brexit and Theresa May, then Donald Trump. Had Le Pen won this election she too would've created a "frexit" for the French people. If that were to happen, two of the nations with the strongest GDP in the EU would've left the EU, leaving it for waste. This election happened after another hack similar to the U.S. election hacking scandal. A few days before the election hackers leaked Macron's emails and apparently shuffled in some fake news that would hurt his chances to win the election, trying to get a victory for Le Pen. Many believe the perpetrator behind these hacks was Russia, the same suspect for the U.S. election hacks. It's no doubt that Russia would've wanted Le Pen to win, as a weaker EU is better for Russia. At only the age of 39, Macron has a lot on his plate coming in as president. The most concerning to many are the many terrorist attacks that have affected the nation in the past few years, immigration, and France's role in the post-brexit EU.

900 pedophiles arrested as 'darknet' child porn kingpin jailed for 30 years
Nearly 900 members of a worldwide 'dark web' pedophile ring, that spanned Europe and the Americas have been arrested following an investigation that lasted two years. The FBI and Europol reported this after the founder of the child pornography ring was arrested and handed a 30-year jail sentence. The FBI revealed in the US alone, 350 arrests were made nationwide after a large investigation into Playpen, a website on the darknet that is referred to being the largest dump of child pornography that has ever existed. Other arrests have been made in Turkey, Peru, Chile, Ukraine, Israel, Malaysia, and others, according to the FBI. Europe accounts for a large portion of arrests made, tallying about 368 suspects being arrested. According to statistics, more than 300 children have been sexually abused at the hands of members affiliated with Playpen, and these children have since been identified or rescued. Playpen's founder, Steve W. Chase, was sentenced this Monday to 30 years in prison. The site he created, Playpen, had approximately 150,000 users registered worldwide until it was covertly taken found by the FBI. Another win.

Forza Horizon 3 new DLC, something ot maybe?

 

Although more arcade than the main Forza series, the gameplay in Forza Horizon generally sticks to realism and authenticity. But the new expansion for Forza Horizon 3 will bring us something quite different.
In it, the Playground Games studio will merge the last Forza title with the Hot Wheels universe. Called simply Forza Horizon 3: Hot Wheels, the DLC replaces dusty Australian roads with colorful runs, cascades, and any other crazy elements known by Hot Wheels.And for a second you can see a roaring T-Rex in the teaser.
Together with the new tracks, the expansion will also bring seven new Hot Wheels:

Forza Horizon 3: Hot Wheels is part of the so-called Expansion Pass, but if you want to buy the package separately, you can do so from May 9th at $20 price tag.
On the same date will come an update for the PC port that optimizes the processor and adds support for new steering wheels, but to be realistic - who wants to play Forza on a computer?

New Walking Dead Game from Payday's Dev has been Delayed Yet Again.
The makers of the Payday series announced that the new Walking Dead game is not coming out as scheduled. The game was originally announced in 2014 and set out for launch in 2016, before being later delayed into 2017 and now again into 2018.

It's been a extremely long wait for fans of the series, Overkill Software announced it's licensed game is now coming in the second half of 2018. In Overkill's news release announcing the latest delay, Overkill said they were taking more time to "expand on the original vision for the game and realize the title's full potential". This has caused a lot of dispute between many fans as that's a rather broad and generic excuse, some fans on reddit have been getting particularly angry.

We still don't know much about what is to come in the new Overkill version of the walking dead game, but the lead developer previously mentioned how it would deliver a "completely new co-op experience" to the fans that will further explore characters backstories and potentially show information which hasn't previously been filled in by the other comics/games/series'.

Luckily we're not in a shortage for game time With Call Of Duty showing off their upcoming WW2 game, as well as their final Black Ops 3 map pack which is being previewed tonight.

TMA-2 Modular Heahphones
Modular tech devices have been the talk of the town for quite a while now. The idea of switching out certain parts and replacing them with replacement parts or upgrades is a really cool idea but very few products have been able to pull it off. Many companies such as Google have tried to go the modular route themselves with smartphones but were not able to pull it off due to complications in the design. Ultimately, the biggest fatal flaw in modular devices is having to individually create parts that must fit inside the small modular piece. However, a Danish audio company known as AIAIAI have seemed to come up with a plan to create a modular pair of headphones. The TMA-2, as it's known, is the company's very own modular headphone. You can swap out pieces of the headphone ranging from the headphone band to the speakers themselves. The pair of headphones themselves are extremely minimalistic and come with many options. There are a multitude of parts that can be swapped and all of them are aimed to cater to the individual using them. Currently, the price of these headphones range from $145 - $215 depending on the parts you purchase along with it.

The OnePlus 5 will arrive this summer
It has been confirmed by OnePlus, exclusively to The Verge, that the next version of their smartphone will be released this summer. It’s called the OnePlus 5, and it is expected to have a dual camera setup along with high-end specs according to the rumors. It wasn’t called the OnePlus 4 due to this number being considered unlucky where OnePlus is located, China. OnePlus says the fact that it will be the fifth phone produced by them wasn’t a reason for its name. The one thing that OnePlus says contributed to the naming was the number five jersey of former NBA player Robert Horry, who many of OnePlus’s employees are fans of. OnePlus is well known for its high quality, well-made phones that sell for reasonable prices which are considerably less than other phones produced by competing companies like Google, Apple, and Samsung. The OnePlus 3 and 3T earned a place as some of the best phones released last year, and this only indicates that the OnePlus 5 should be really exciting.

LCD Soundsystem
In recent news LCD Soundsystem has been announced to take the place of Frank Ocean at many festivals scattered across the summertime. A long awaited SNL performance was finally given May 7th. The band played two new songs which will be revealed on their upcoming untitled album. The two songs featured were "Call The Police" and "American Dream". The band is known to be synonymous with New York and has yet to perform for the live comedy show. In a further comment, the lead vocalist says this upcoming project has been the greatest experience of his life and he's acknowledged he's been at his happiest during this time. These two singles have been released and are available on multiple platforms including youtube if you're looking for more.

Novak Djokovic parts with his entire coaching team before Madrid Open
The world number two, Novak Djokovic ditched his entire coaching team. He had parted with coach Marian Vajda as well as fitness coach Gebhard Phil Gritsch, and physio Miljan Amanovic in the hope shock therapy will help him achieve better results in the future. Djokovic says he will be on the tour alone as he goes in search for a new head coach. The Serb said he would be "forever grateful" for their "friendship, professionalism and commitment to my career goals". Djokovic said that his career was always on the upward path, but the path is taking him somewhere else and that's why he thinks he must make a change by finding the spark that has been absent from his game since he won the 2016 French Open. After 122 weeks of being at the world number one spot, Novak Djokovic has lost his spot to the British player Andy Murray. Novak next match will be at the Madrid Open, with the men's first-round draw to take place on Friday.

Mets suspend Harvey for 3 days
The New York Mets scratched Matt Harvey for his scheduled start Sunday against the Miami Marlins and suspended the right-hander three days for an undisclosed violation of team rules. General manager Sandy Alderson announced the suspension in a brief statement before the game, saying that Harvey had been sent home but declining further comment. The team said the suspension was effective Saturday. “We are going to keep it in house, the way it’s supposed to be,” manager Terry Collins said. “We hope to put it behind us and move forward.” Some Red Sox fans just don't know Boston's racist history Left-hander Adam Wilk was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas to start in Harvey’s place. The three-day suspension removes Harvey from the 25-man roster. The Mets transferred Noah Syndergaard to the 60-day disabled list to open a spot on the 40-man roster for Wilk. Collins indicated that he was aware that a suspension could be on the horizon for Harvey. “There were some moves made last night because we felt this might occur,” he said.

Revisiting Florine Sttetheimer's Place in Art History
This is a good time to take Florine Stettheimer seriously. The occasion is a retrospective of the New York artist, poet, designer, and Jazz Age saloniste, at the Jewish Museum, titled “Florine Stettheimer: Painting Poetry.” The impetus is an itch to rethink old orders of merit in art history. It’s not that Stettheimer, who died in 1944, at the age of seventy-three, needs rediscovering. She is securely esteemed—or adored, more like it—for her ebulliently faux-naïve paintings of party scenes and of her famous friends, and for her four satirical allegories of Manhattan, which she called “Cathedrals”: symbol-packed phantasmagorias of Fifth Avenue, Broadway, Wall Street, and Art, at the Metropolitan Museum (Schjeldahl 1).

Pineapple left in the middle of an exhibition
We can guess what happened when students left a pineapple in the middle of an exhibition... people mistook it for art. Two friends, Ruairi Gray and Robert Gordon decided to pull this prank thinking the staff in charge of the exhibition would notice pretty quick. Gray, 22, told the MailOnline: "I saw an empty art display stand and decided to see how long it would stay there for or if people would believe it was art." Little did they know that after coming back to the exhibition 4 days later they noticed the pineapple had been moved to its own glass display! Gary also stated the following, "I came in later, and it had been put in a glass case - it's the funniest thing that has happened all year. My honors supervisor saw it and asked an art lecturer if it was real because he could not believe it." A similar case happened last year where a 17-year-old placed a pair of glasses on the floor at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and people took pictures of it mistaking it for art. This puts into question what modern art has become and how very simple things can be mistaken for real art.

Runescape Hacks / Bots

This week we are featuring the Runescape Hacks / Bots section, which is currently moderated by [MPGH]Raple, [MPGH]Bryan, and [MPGH]Wyo.
Remember back in the good old days when Runescape looked like one of the better online 3D Java games? I certainly do!
There are two versions of Runescape for you to choose from, Old School Runescape and Runescape 3. You're probably wondering what the differences are. OSRS uses RNG with attacks so it is much harder to farm compared to RS3.
If it weren't down to choice, I suggest you play both and pick which game suits you the best. If you are running on a relatively old (or low-end) computer, I suggest you play OSRS for greater frame rates.
While this game is relatively simple and easy to play, you may find the need to have some farming assistance. The MPGH section provides you with Auto Hotkey (AHK) scripts which allow you to go AFK while the script does the farming for you, e.g. if you are working, using these scripts will ensure you farm the maximum amount during the day.

Middle school student suspended because he "liked" a gun photo on Instagram!
A few days ago Zachary, a Middle schooler was called down to the principals office and suspended for 10 days. When asked why, he was told it was because he had liked an image on Instagram of a gun the previous night. The image in question was a photo of an air-soft gun with the caption "ready" on it. So the school took that as a potential threat and took the necessary precautions.

Parents of the child were annoyed and frustrated because their son had done nothing except for "liking" the photo. He hadn't commented, shared it or done anything else. The suspension since then has been lifted and all the students were informed that there was a potential threat and was dealt with accordingly to assure the safety of everyone. What's scary is the thought that all your social media is potentially being monitored by your school to prevent a potential disaster from occurring. I know a lot of MPGH users are high schoolers or college students, what do you guys think about this?

[MPGH]Nyaro: Hey Dynasty, thanks for taking the time to do an Interview for the MPGH News. How has your week been so far?

[MPGH]Dynasty: Hey Nyaro, not a problem. It's been a tricky week with multiple projects I have in the works, but it has been pretty good. What about yours?

[MPGH]Nyaro: Thanks for asking. I had my finals last week and now I'm pretty much done with school. Is there anything exciting that happened to you lately?

[MPGH]Dynasty: A lot of things. I am opening around 3 ecommerce shops which are currently in progress, my betting group will be merging with 2 other groups and I am building a totally new optimized website and ******* chat for that, opened a yeezys service which is currently under review due to all the recent problem mpgh has had with yeezys, finals next week, and I could keep going but I am not planning to write an essay here.

[MPGH]Nyaro: Damn. Many shops. Maybe I'll take a vouch copy if you allow me xD. Can you tell us how you joined MPGH and what made you stay?

[MPGH]Dynasty: Yeah I have a lot in my mind to worry about lol Well you most definitely could, just let me know! I joined many years ago through combat arms, I then came back as a new active member around an year and a half ago. Honestly the market place is what has made me stay hooked to mpgh.

[MPGH]Nyaro: You have been picked as a Publicist a few weeks ago. What was your reaction?

[MPGH]Dynasty: Publicist is something I have always wanted to be part. After a lot of work and becoming good friends with a some of the staff members, I was given a chance. Now I am currently running both SOTM and POTM with the Publicist team.

[MPGH]Nyaro: Yea publicist is something great. Maybe I'll get it next time. Can you tell us what your favorite section is at MPGH and why?

[MPGH]Dynasty: I would have to say it's the Market Section for obvious reasons. I also like the giveaway section because it's a place where people can give back to the community.

[MPGH]Nyaro: So what do you do when you're not on MPGH? What are your hobbies?

[MPGH]Dynasty: I do college stuff, gym, and play sports. I put a bunch of hours into mpgh related things daily, but I try to multitask.

[MPGH]Nyaro: Well. Seems like mpgh isn't life as everyone says xD. Last question. If you could change something at MPGH, what would it be?

[MPGH]Dynasty: It can be part of someone's life but you must always do other things too. There is not much I would change. A new theme would be very nice, a escrow system for the market place, and nothing else honestly.

[MPGH]Nyaro: I can agree. Dave new themes please.
