Apple Refund Question

So i got a unlocked iPhone from apple ( refunded and still sealed ) and i would like to know are there any safety steps to not get it blacklisted cause i haven't been able to find any information. Thank you.

Have you turned on the device right after the refund?

i still have it sealed up

Just don't use the same Apple ID as when you purchased it.

Yes, as long as its the ID that wasn't used for the purchase, and you have the money in your bank account
