Learning VB Milestones
Learning VB? Need to know what to do? Copying and Pasting without knowing what the code does? HERE ARE SOME MILESTONES!

RULES:
1. You may not go onto the next milestone without completing the one before.

2. You may not copy and paste code, unless you understand what EVERY word of code does. EVERY WORD!

3. This is not going to teach you how to code, this is giving you goals to help you advance with your learning

4. Most of the answers to these can be found here Microsoft Visual Basic .NET tutorials for Beginners. It is a good tutorial I used to learn vb. Lolland has also made a few videos on vb http://www.mpgh.net/forum/33-visual-...als-me-hd.html.

MILESTONES:

1. Make a Project with an Empty Form

2. Make a Form with a Label, a Button and a Textbox

3. Make it so when you click the button a message box with the words "Treeham is a great coder" on it

3. Make a program that adds two numbers

4. Make a program that adds the values in two textboxes

5. Make a fully functional calculator

6. Make a digital clock using timers

7. Make any program that you made earlier with pictures

8. Make an email sender or an internet browser using tutorials on MPGH's visual basics section
Email Sender by Deathninjak0 - http://www.mpgh.net/forum/33-visual-...tachments.html
Advanced Webbrowser L3GO - http://www.mpgh.net/forum/161-tutori...rowser-vb.html

9. Understand the code in them, and make them better

10. Research more functions and interpret them into your code

11. MAKE YOUR OWN CUSTOM GUI

12. Make multi-tools, and other programs and post them on MPGH

It's proper coding practice to place comments(notes), and very handy
