Help!
I've done something pretty bad to my ankle at training, I'm not sure what's wrong (rolled, spraint etc) I'm almost certain it's not broken. Anyway, I need it to play a very very important soccer match in 4 hours.
Someone give me suggestions of what I can do to reduce the swelling, relieve the pain and be up and ready to play in 4 hours.
Please give me some suggestions ASAP!
Thank you.
Rub some Chinese Wood lock oil on it. Solves everything.
hmmm well as a soccer player here coming to you I strongly suggest although it sucks its important don't do it. I broke my wrist at the end of the season and as starter captain for all defensive people I couldn't make it to the finals which we made it to. We did end up winning but it was close cause I wasn't there. I decided not to go dude you can get hurt even more and its not worth it. As much as I wanted to go I decided not to and especially an ankle your coach needs you 100% since you are going to need to be able to kick well and not do bad things so trust me don't go.
So let me make this very clear, if you are injured, or think you are, you go tell your coach and sit on the bench for the game.
Trust me, I learned the hard way that you don't play while injured.
It's not worth it, you might risk permanent damage and a lot of pain.
Also, don't worry, it's not a broken ankle. If it was, you would've known.
For now just ice it and drink alot of water. Bananas will help as well(if it's a cramp).
Just put some ice on it, relax for the most part and do not put a lot of pressure on it.
You really should not play. If you are not at 100%, you would be a hindrance to your teammates.
Last thing you want is to let a goal go past you because of some leg injury.
It just so happens that I currently work at the hospital for the fracture clinic.
Most of the broken bones come from soccer/football.
Instead of thinking that you are fine, it's better for you to pass on the game, and check.
You may never know if you have a broken bone, unless you are an x-ray machine.
Go see a doctor!
