Just a quick little message - I got unbanned after like 14 hours, and it's all good now, I can catch pokemons, loot pokestops and fight in gyms. However, this temporary scared the shit outta me, thought I'm never getting my acc back.

yeah, what kind of ban did you receive? I can catch pokemons and fight gyms but I can spin pokestops, always says try again xD. keep us updated please...

I have seen a trick can be a glitchy thing with the "Failed to get data from the server..." when you use another account (PTC or Google whatever..) 2minutes after go on options and disconnection, and try now to login with your "Banned" account who have the message "Failed to get data from the server..." And there you will have another message..

After that i dont have try anything else..

I now can loot pokestop after 14 hours of not being able to. Haven't tried catching pokemon yet.

Is it now assumed that pokestop unban spin trick no longer work?

I can fight gyms and catch pokemons but cant spin pokestops, and no the unban spin trick does not work for this type of ban. I am currently waiting to be unbanned, been more than 14 hours now.

MY BAN HAS BEEN LIFTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 16 HOURS OF NO POKESTOP SPINS BUT CAN FIGHT GYMS AND CATCHPOKEMONS YESSS!!!
