if I set up a private server, and I charge people for gold, and someone uses this same exploit on my server, I am not losing any damn money as the gold from my game I generate and distribute for free
i only charge people as a perk of owning the game and being the only one capable of accessing it

Oh NO! That rascal, always getting into trouble and such.
Toddddd turns around and sells 1 of his 2 twigs to SallyCheapBitch.
Riigged is out of a potential sell from SallyCheapBitch because Toddddd, that sly little trickster, sold the twig to SallyCheapBitch for cheaper.
Riigged now has to wait for someone else to buy his last twig, but this story only has 3 people so fuck Riigged and his stupid fucking twigs.
edit: okay im over this now. It was fun while it lasted.
lol yes that is simply losing the chance at making money, that is not physically losing money
does decas balance deduct when a gold account is sold? when the exploit is done? i dun think so.
youre talking about losing as if it counts no matter what, as if you found a lottery ticket on the ground and lost, you would say "that person lost money", no, they lost a chance at making some money, but they didnt not lose any actual money. you did not pay for the lotto ticket, so you did not lost $X. deca does not pay $100 for 16k gold therefore they dont lose $95~.
now, are you gonna buy some twigs or what? i need to pay my rent. oh shit. i forgot. youre just one of millions of people. i can care less if you dont buy twigs from me, im not gonna be petty over it, not like im losing any money if you dont buy from me, im losing a chance at making money off of you, yes, but i am not losing any actual money.
this whole time all ive been saying is losing a chance at making money is not the same as losing money and its simply the truth, the game owner (big bad deca) generates as much gold as they want for free because its their game, they distribute that gold for money this way they can simply support their game, but people exploiting/stealing gold is only them losing chances of making money, not actual money, theres big difference there and ive said it at least 900000 times in the past couple responses
think about it, if i hosted a game and i needed in-game purchases in order to earn some money from the game so i can keep paying to host it, i would most likely add an ingame currency just like realm has, but if someone used an exploit to get those for free, i would not be losing any money, as i programmed them into my game at no cost and distribute them to people who ENJOY THE GAME AND WANT MORE BENEFITS for money (u should check out pserver, set up pserver and pretend to be deca, then pretend to be someone exploiting the system, then u will understand what im saying probably)
even if i pay a cent for 16k they are not losing money, they just simply aren't making money (Except for a cent topkek)
having a rival company steal a customer isnt losing money, having some random thug run in my store and steal from my cash register is losing money.
dont understand why youre getting so tight about this either, its just common sense, not making as much money as you could be, is not losing money. i could find the rarest thing in the world and sell it for $5 instead of millions and i would not "lose money", i would have simply lost the chance at making more than i did.
