APPLE REFUND QUESTION HELP!!
I am using an Apple refund service and the refund process starts on Friday last week, today I received this email:

Dear xxx,

My name is xxx, and I'm following up on your request with Apple.

We have opened an investigation with the carrier to locate your missing shipment(s), and have attempted to contact you at phone number xxx. We would like to speak with you at your earliest convenience. Please contact us at 1-866-277-3147, or reply to this email with your preferred telephone number and a time of contact.

Please note that any replacement or refund will be based on the outcome of the investigation. These investigations generally take up to 15 business days.
Does this mean my Apple refund fails? Should I return the product or wait for the 15 days and hope for a resolution? The guy who did my refund said he is looking into this and will let me know.

Who's doing your refund and how much do you trust him.
If you don't wanna risk it just say it came after some time/make some excuse of how it showed up and just return it normally.
looks like your guy used the wrong excuse .. should used someone more reliable.
who did you use to refund?
Get in contact with the person who did your refund, and ask him what he said (excuse used). Then call up that number and reiterate it, and see what happens.

If you're not comfortable, get an experienced refunder to do it for you (if they do failed refunds), or just say the item showed up (was delivered to the wrong address) if the excuse doesn't contradict it.
Thats not a problem.

They will contact u back tomororw (monday), then pick up, usually tho, they will call, you dont answer, they give refund.
Who attempted the refund ? I never seen that before
As long as the refunder follows through, that email means nothing. Happened to me, and still got refund since UPS will email you about it, have your refunder fix that.

What do you mean by following through? UPS just emailed me about the problem and my refunder responded.

Just reply to the apple email that you been trying to contact them and give them a time BUT dont answer it when the time comes while letting your refunder respond to UPS. You CAN get your refund as I got mine so just in case, count your 14 days down while at it. I had like 2 days left and I got the refund email. Never even spoke to apple. That number is impossible to reach because ONLY they can call you, not the other way around.
you are ok with your refund, just ask refunder what excuse he told to them and then contact apple,i can do it for you fix for free,pm me..
Your most likely not going to get your refund. I was in the same situation when I tried to do the refund myself back in the days. They will email you with the outcome and say that they will not be refunding you and tell you to dispute it with the bank.

Really? Do you know the reason for not issuing the refund from Apple?

lol what? I don't know why these people are scaring you lmao, but don't worry you are fine. Whoever did your refund tell him about this, give him the number because it's their responsibility to walk you through this or call on your behalf which I actually do when i do refunds and i have got this email countless amount of time so don't worry, tell you refunder about this number, tell him to call, they will basically ask what happened, ask about the package and that's it. DON'T worry, you will get your refund.
Thanks for all the advice guys. Hope for the best and I will keep you updated.
