I'm getting adds then customers don't come back online. Chat needs to auto connect for everyone all the time.
Can you guys make it autoreconnect? i get disconneted from time to time.
Don't even know how to 1 on 1 chat. This chat is integration is a disaster but at least the site owners tried to do something positive but kinks need to be worked out cause like everyone said" they are loosing costumers". Me not being able to find how to add people within 10 minutes on a site that i commonly used is a bad sign. At least make a thread in the front page showing how to use the chat function
I think the most annoying thing about IM is not the functionality, but that other new members don't surf MPGH often enough so never see a reply to a IM they sent. Therefore anyone selling anything, being items or services will see a massive decrease in new customers (most peoples main market) simply due to them not being active on MPGH.

Issues like being disconnected every time you open a new tab or just disconnect for any reason also makes it harder for a customer to even understand IM. I've had multiple people get my Sky.pe ID somewhere and just tell me they rather use Sky.pe becuase IM is not nob friendly and is just way too buggy to use.
Like I said before... put aside any egos out there, I know a lot of work and time has been put into the IM chat but IT IS NOT DONE! It is just shitty right now. "Most" of us are grown-ups by now, so I'm going to say things how they are and hope no one gets offended.
- The main argument for NOT using sky.pe is scams and mostly imposters. But I already have the smart and better way to fight this:
*Make it a requirement to have your sky.pe ID linked to your MPGH profile in order to be protected by MPGH Marketplace Rules.

- Normal scams will never stop happening because I can scam 100 members on IM before I'm banned. There is no way of stopping exit scams and so on unless we get MMs again. So anyone saying IM will help reduce normal/exit-scam is not correct.
- By forcing people to link their sky..pe IDs with their MPGH profile it makes it impossible for imposters to scam MPGH members. If you get scammed by an imposter by adding someone with a different sky..pe ID, then it's your damn fucking fault for being retarded.
- Let everyone use sky..pe with strict rules UNTIL you develop IM to what it is supposed to be. I'm not asking to remove IM. Although we all wish that was the case if you guys want IM to be the social platform MPGH uses to communicate, well so be it. But don't force us to use something that seems to be 30% done. IM can't support a market place like the one we have in MPGH, at least not what we are using now.

I respect both of you, you guys have been working your balls off for this forum for fucking years now. You guys probably don't even make that much money compared to the amount of time and resources you put into the forum. But it is clear there is a problem and people just don't want to deal with the current version of IM. Only reason I'm wasting 25min of my time to write this piece of shit that will be forgotten in 2 hours, is because I care about MPGH.
If needed, I will spend 3 hours making a detailed thread about trading in the marketplace, about WTF is a sky..pe ID and how to make sure you added the right person, and about every single things retarded MPGH members have to know before trading. You can use that thread and make it an announcement for people to actually read it. And if you want things to be even safer, than just make it a requirement for EVERY SELLING/BUYING THREAD to have a like to the "Marketplace Buying Instrucitons Thread".
Hope no one gets offended. This is what I think of the situation. I'm a pretty chill guy if you know me lol.

Some things that I think should be implemented..
- Make the notification slider that appears on the top of the page "XXX is online" hyperlink to open a chat with the user.
- Allow users to create private groupchats (Betting groups, discussions, etc...)
- Allow users to toggle the option to display the contact list based on most recent conversations rather than alphabetical.
- Add a search bar so you find specific messages sent to users.
