It's not like the real file takes up space.

Even for me, and I have like 26GB total memory space.

Well i suppose the advantages of VB6 Portable Edition are that you don't need to install anything just open and you get going but as for VB6 you have to wait for the installation (not that it is that long of a wait) but for the people that just don't want to wait or have problems installing it then this would be a good alternative.
